Our trainer was Peter Yoon of Korean LSP. There were seventeen participants in attendance at the seminar, which lasted for the entire day.

The seminar started with a presentation and discussion in the morning, followed by hands-on training for the remainder of the day. Each participant received one-on-one attention, troubleshooting and technical assistance.

Each participant was provided with an individual work station. SDL Trados users brought their own laptops with the software already loaded. Present were project managers and translators of Albanian, Arabic, French, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Italian, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Turkish

During the midday hours, we enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at Dervish Mediterranean Restaurant, where participants of the seminar and other translators had the opportunity to network.

The Language Shop is known for its Networking Lunches where translators get to know each other and where professional alliances are forged and strengthened. On August 28, 2009, each lunch participant had the opportunity to make a "pitch" and tell a language-related joke or story.
